100- Lesson 20 - The Resurrection of Jesus Christ - 7/3/18

The Master Jesus

Painting by Akiane Kramarik, a Child Prodigy
From Lithuania who began having "visions"
at the age of four and began painting
at the age of six.
As her parents were Atheist, she began to tell her parents about her beautiful
experiences in heaven and of the face of Christ.  This is all captured in the book
"Heaven is for Real"  Colton Buro, a little boy's astounding story of his trip to heaven and back (He died in the hospital and was pronounced dead and then after a period of time, he awakened and was completely healed).
The boy's Father is a minister and he continually showed various pictures of Christ to the
boy who would say, "No, that's not him" - and finally when his father showed  him Akiane's rendition of Jesus he said "That him!" and so his picture is in the book.
Colton also told his father that while speaking with Jesus, Jesus told him that there was
going to be a war, and it's going to destroy this world. Jesus and the angels and the good people are going to fight against Satan and the monsters and the bad people, I saw it".
His father asked him:  "How did you see that?"
Colton answered:  "In heaven, the women and the children got to stand back and watch.  So I stood back and watched."  "But the men, they had to fight; and Dad, I watched you.  You have to fight too." This is from a 4 year old boy, who visited heaven and returned to tell of his experiences.

But let's not deviate from the subject at hand - we are going to talk about the Resurrection of Jesus Christ in this lesson.

There were many predictions of the coming of Christ, as well as his crucifixion even as far back as the Book of Enoch where the "Ancient od Days" was seen walking with the "son of man" in heaven - eye-witnessedd by Enoch himself.  The Archangel Uriel said that The Ancient of Days  was preparing him for his life to come as the Messiah.

David in the Psalms predicted that they would crucify Jesus, pierce his side, feed him gall (vinegar) and cast lots for his
garments - not to mentioin all of the prophets that told of
his coming.

Jesus, himself according to Luke 9:28 prepared for His eventual resurrection when He took Peter, John and James and went up onto a mountain to pray. 29- While He was praying his Face changed in appearance and His clothes became dazzling white. 30- Suddenly two men were talking with Him - Moses and Elizah, who had died many years before. 31-  They appeared in glory and spoke of His passage, which He was about to fulfill in Jerusalem.   32- Peter and those with him had fallen into a deep sleep; but awakening they saw His glory and likewise saw  the two men, who were standing with Him.  33-When these two were leaving, Peter said to Jesus "Master, how good it is for us to be here.  Let us set up three booths, one for you one for Moses and one for Elijah." 34-  While he was speaking, a cloud came and overshadowed them and the disciples grew fearful as the others entered it (Moses and Elijah).  Then from the cloud came a voice which said:  "This is My Son, my Chosen One.  Listen to Him." 35- When the voice fell silent, Jesus was there alone.  The disciples kept quiet telling nothing of what they had seen at that time to anyone...
Jesus took on his Light Body
or Holy Christ Self which
resides above each of us
Twenty Four to Fifty Feet
Also known as the Soul

This "Transfiguration" that changed Jesus from an ordinary man with very little karma, into a"superhuman" was due to His taking on his "light body" or Holy Christ Self.  He not only had witnesses from Earth, Peter, John and James; but He also had heavenly witnesses in those great ones who had lived on Earth and had prophesied His coming.

Luke also claims Jesus prophesized His coming Passion in Chaper 9 vs 44.  When Jesus said: "Pay close attention to what I tell you; the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of men".  Jesus knew before hand that He had to be crucified, and then resurrected in order to make His Ascension into the Light.

The Garden Containing Jesus' Tomb

In Luke Chapter VII - Appearances After the Resurrection:  The Women at the Tomb.  1-After Jesus was crucified and was buried in the Tomb of His Uncle, Joseph of Arimathea.   On the third day, Mary Madeline, and several of the holy women, on the first day of the week, came to the tomb bringing spices they had prepared.

The Stone That Sealed Jesus's Tomb
Was Rolled Back

2- They found the stone rolled back from the tomb:  3-but when they entered the tomb, they did not find the body of Lord Jesus.

The Holy Women at Jesus' Tomb
The Holy Men (Angels) Who Spoke to Them
4-While they were still at a loss over what to think of this, two men in dazzling garments stood beside them.  5-terrified, the women bowed to the ground.  The men said to them: "Why do you search for the Living One among the dead?" 6-" He is not here; He has been raised up.  Remember what He said to you while He was still in Galilee 7- That the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and on the third day rise again." - With this reminder, His words came back to them.

The Holy Women Tell the Eleven Apostles
That Jesus was Gone and Two Angels
Were Guarding the Tomb

9- On their return from the tomb, they told all these things to the Eleven and  the others.  10-The women were Mary of Magedala, Joanna, and Mary the mother of James.  The other women with them also told the apostles.  11-But the story seemed like nonsense and they refused to believe them.
12-Peter, however, got up and ran to the tomb.  He stooped down but could see nothing but the wrappings.  So he went away, full of amazement at what had occurred.

Jesus Meets Two Disciples on the Road to Emmaus

Then Jesus appears to two of His disciples on the road to Emmaus. He asked them what they were discussing and they couldn't believe that He wasn't aware of the crucifixion of Jesus, yet they didn't recognize Him.  He replied by quoting every prophesy from the time of Moses forward and that the Messiah would have to undergo all this so as to enter into His glory.  They invited Him to spend the night with them and as He broke the bread and blest it - they suddenly  realized that He was indeed, Jesus, in the  flesh.  Just then He disappeared and they rushed to the other nine apostles to tell  them the news.  It was while they were speaking about all they had heard when Jesus Himself appeared in their midst and said:

Jesus Breaks Bread With Disciples & Apostles
g
"Peace Be Unto You!"  Then He asked why they were so disturbed?  He challenged them to look at His hands and feet and demanded that they touch Him to make sure He wasn't a ghost. He said ghosts do not have flesh on their bones.  Then He proceeded to remind them - He said:
"Recall those words I spoke to you when I was still with you:  everything written about Me in the Law of Moses and the prophets and psalms had to be fulfilled.  "Then He opened their minds to the understanding of the scriptures.  Again, He spoke:  "Thus it is written that the Messiah must suffer and rise from the dead on the third day.  In His name, penance for the remission of sins is to be preached to all the nations, beginning  at Jerusalem.  You are witnesses of this.  See, I send down upon you the promise of my Father.  Remain here in the city until you are clothed with the power from on high.

Jesus Ascension Into Heaven
Witnessed by Apostles & Disciples

His Ascension - Then He led them out near Bethany, and with hands upraised, blessed them.  As He blessed, He left them and was taken up into Heaven.  They fell down to do
Him reverence, then returned to Jerusalem filled with Joy.  There they were to be found in a temple constantly speaking the praises of God.

This is the record that we have of Luke's account according to the bible, yet Luke was not part of the original group of apostles.  In fact, he came along after Jesus was crucified - if we want to take this a step further, we soon realize that none of the books of the bible were written in the first hundred years after this historical event, except for Judas and James -

Jesus Meeting Saul/Paul on
Road to Damascus

Paul, also was not part of the original group; but he was very well educated and was a Lawyer as well as a soldier. We know that Jesus met him on the road to Damacus and blinded him - then took him to a place where He instructed Paul in the scriptures as well as all the events of Jesus' public life up to and through his crucifixion, resurrection and ascension.  So where did  Luke get his information?  Luke was also very well educated and was a Doctor or Mendicant in those days.   And how many different scribes wrote these passages that were first translated from Armenian into Greek - much was even lost here in the translation.
So let's look now at John's account of the Crucifixion and Resurrection.
Joseph of Arimathea Asked Pilate's Permission
To Remove Jesus From Cross
John Chapter 19 vs 38:  "After Jesus was removed from th cross, Joseph of Arimathea, a disciple of Jesus (His Uncle on His Mother's side) asked Pilate's permission to remove Jesus' body, Pilate granted it, so they came and took the body away.

Nicodemus Prepared Mixture of
Myrrh and Aloes Weighing About 100 lbs.
And Clothes To Wrap Jesus' Body
According to Jewish Tradition

39- Nicodemus (the man who had first come to Jesus at night) likewise came bringing a mixture of myrrh and aloes which weighed about a hundred pounds.  40- They took Jesus' body and in accordance with Jewish burial custom bound it up in wrappings of cloth with perfumed oils.

The Garden and Tomb of Jesus' Burial

41- In the place where He had been crucified there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one had ever been buried.  42- Because of the Jewish Preparation Day they buried Jesus there, as the tomb was close at hand.

Aaccording to John's report in Chapter 20 vs 1 - Early in the morning on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb.  She saw  that  the
Stone had been moved away from the tomb.

The Stone That Sealed the Tomb
Was Moved Away....
2- She ran off to Simon Peter and the two other disciples (the one Jesus loved, John, the Beloved) and told them.  "The Lord has been taken from the tomb1  We don't know where they have put him!" 3- At that Peter and the other disciple (John  the Beloved), started out on their way toward the tomb. 4- They were running side by side; but then the John  the Beloved outran Peter and reached the tomb first. 5- He did not enter but bent down to peer in, and saw the wrappings lying on the ground. 6-Presently, Simon Peter came along behind him and entered the tomb.  He observed the wrappings on the ground.  7-And he saw the piece of cloth which had covered the head not lying with the wrappings; but rolled up in a place by itself.  8-Then  John, the Beloved, who had arrived first at the tomb went in.  He saw and believed.  9-  Remember as yet they did not undertand the Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead)  10- With this, the disciples went back home.

John Chapter 20vs 22 - Mary Magdalene.  Meanwhile, Mary stood weeping beside the tomb.  Even as she wept, she stopped to peer inside.  12- and there she saw two angels in dazzling robes  One was seated at the head and the other at the foot of the place where Jesus' body had lain  13-"Woman, they asked her, "why are you weeping."  She answered them, "Becausse the Lord has been taken away, and I do not know where they have put him".

Jesus Meets Mary Magdalene at the Tomb
Jesus asked her:  "Woman, why are you weeping?"

14- She had no sooner said this than she  turned around and caught sight of Jesus standing there.  But she did no know him.  15-"Woman,  He asked her, "why are you weeping?  Who is it you are looking for?"   She supposed he was the gardener, so she said, "Sir, if you are the one who carried him off, tell me where you have laid him and I will take him away."  16- Jesus said to her, "Mary!" She turned to him and said,  "Rabbouni!" (meaning teacher)  17-Jesus then said "Do not touch me, for I have not yet ascendedd to the Father.   Rather, go to my brothers and tell them.  "I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God."  18-Mary Magdalene went to the disciples "I have seen the Lord!" she announced.  Then she reported what He had said to her.

Jesus Appears In the Upper Room

Then Jesus appeared suddenly to those disciples who had locked themselves in the upper room in fear of the Jews (remember they were also Jews).  He said "Peace be with you!" and then showed them His hands and His side - at the sight of the Lord the disciples rejoiced "Peace be with you!"
Then He breathed on them and said:  "Receive the Holy Spirit.  If you forgive men's sins, they are forgiven them, if you hold them bound, they are held bound."

Doubting Thomas Puts His Hands in
Jesus' Side

It happened that one of the Eleven, Thomas was absent when Jesus came.   The other disciples kept telling him. "We have seen the Lord"  His answer was "I will never believe it without probing the nail prints in his hands, without putting my finger in the nail marks and my hand into His side.  A week later, the disciples were once more in the room, and this time Thomas was with them.  Despite the locked doors, Jesus came and stood before them.  "Peace be with you!" He said.  Then, to Thomas "Take your finger and examine my hands.  put your hand into my side.  Do not persist in your unbelief, but believe!"  Thomas said in response.  "My Lord and my God!"  Jesus then said to him.
"You became a believer because you saw Me.  Blest are they who have not seen and have believed".

Jesus performed many other signs as well - signs not recorded here - in the presence of His disciples.  But these have been recorded to help you believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, so that through this faith you may have life in His name.

Now let us look at Saul/Paul's version of the Resurrection
1 Corinthians 15
VI: The Resurrectioin - Chapter 15
Christ's Resurrection:  1.  Brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and in which you stand firm.  2- You are being saved by it at this very moment if you hold fast to it as I preached it to you  Otherwise, you have believed in vain.  I handed on to you first of all, what I myself received that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures:  That He was buried and in accordance with these scriptures, rose on the third day, that He was seen by Cephas, then by the Twelve.  After that he was seen by five hundred brothers at once, most of whom are still alive, although some have fallen asleep ( this could mean they are senile, in comas and/or lost their faith) Next He was seen by James; then by all the apostles.  Last of all, He was seen by me, as one born out of the normal course.  I am the least of the apostles; in fact, because i persecuted the church of God, I do not even deserve the name.  But by God's favor I am what I am.  This favor of His to me has not proved  fruitless. Indeed, I have worked harder than all the others, not only on my own but through the favor of God.  In any case, whether it be I or they, this is what we preach and this is what you believed.
The Resurrection and Faith:  Tell me, if christ is preached as raised from the dead, how is it that some of you say there is no resurrection of the dead?  If there is no resurrection of the dead, Christ Himself, has not been raised; and if Christ has to be raised our preaching is void of content and your faith is empty too. Indeed, we should then be exposed as false witnesses of God, for we have borne witness before Him that He raised up Christ; but He certainly did not raise Him up if the dead are not raised.  Why?  Because if the dead are not raised than Christ was not raised. And Christ, if He was not raised, your faith is worthless. You are still in your sins; and those who have fallen asleep in Christ are the deadest of the dead.  If our hopes in Christ are limited to this life only, we are the most pitiable of men.

How Paul, as Saul, was a persecutor of the faithful until Christ met him on the Road to Damascus.  Paul  was also half Jewish and half Roman, well educated, in fact a lawyer.  So here we have the first witness after the fact who could and did write continuously to all the faithful.  Paul was sort of the law-giver.  He kept the faith alive by continually writing to the other apostles and disciples to give them courage and strength.  So, I would believe what Paul said, because he was an unbeliever who was struck from his horse, and blinded by Jesus, who appeared to him long after He was ascended.

Although, he was not an eyewitness to the happenings of the life, death and resurrection and ascension of Jesus, he certainly was trained directly by Jesus after the fact, and was highly respected by both the apostles and disciples, who would have found the most fault with him.

The Essene Community on Mount Carmel Where
Joseph, Mary and Jesus lived after returning from Egypt
Jesus' cousin John the Baptist lived many miles South
of Mount Carmel in Quaruma near the Dead
Sea.

From the time of Moses and David through all the prophets there was a continual thread concerning the "coming Messiah".  Unlike most of the Jewish children, Jesus was brought up as an Essene .  Even Mother Mary proclaims that she was an Essene when she appered to the children of Portugal, claiming to be "Our Lady of Mount Carmel" (which is where the Essene Community was located high upon Mount Carmel. She made this distinction so that we do not become confused, as there is another location of the Essene Community at Quaram near the Dead Sea, where John the Baptist was raised and prepared the way for Jesus'
public life.

The Magi Bringing
Frankenscense, Myrrh and Gold
to the Newborn King

From the moment of birth Jesus' life was threatened by King Herod  - in fact, all the children two years old and under were put to death when the Magi asked King Herod for directions to the birthplace of the Messiah.  Why did the Magi trek their long journey after consulting their astrological maps?  Why did they bring him Frankenscense and Myrrh with Gold? Because, first of all they were from three different areas of Asia and Africa; yet all of them knew that this Great Being was due to be born.  They even knew the sign of his coming' and followed the 'great conjunction' of planets in the sky that lead  them to Bethleham.  Once they found Mary and Joseph, they placed a "ring pass not" around Jesus so that the soldiers would pass by without harming Him.  This is what the Frankenscense and Myrrh was used in performing the protective Ring.  The gold was for more practical reasons. They understood the danger of Jesus remaining in Bethleham and the gold was given to assist Mary and Joseph in fleeing for their very lives into Egypt.  Why?  Because they knew that every two thousand years a savior comes to lead us for the next two thousand years  Moses led everyone during the Sign of Aries while Jesus led everyone during the Sign of Pisces - He is known as the Piscean Conqueror. Unlike anyone else, He was to be  the sacrificial lamb, that would shed His blood for the sins of man.  But at the same time, He would die and within three days, raise Himself up from the dead and finally make His ascension.  Enoch knew of these plans, and wrote about them.  Because Enoch was from the Chaldean era, much of what he wrote down has been lost; but there still remains fragments here and there throughout the world.

So it was predicted by all the prophets that Jesus would come into the world sinless, and that He would bring a message of love and that He would heal the sick, raise the dead and resurrect Himself.  During the time that Jesus chose to come forth was probably one of the darkest eras of our history.  People were crying out to God to be saved yet, they were looking for a temporal ruler, while Jesus was coming to bring the Word of God directly to those souls, who didn't realize that He was among them.  They were looking for a rich king - someone who would lead them; but Jesus came to teach the humble, the poor, because His kingdom was not of this world.  In Revelations we are told to watch for the Seventh Angel who will rule during the "end times". Two Thousand Years have passed and The Seventh Angel would be under the sign of Aquarius, and He has been in and out of the Earth for the past four hundred years.  He was St. Joseph, Paracelaus, Columbus, the Compte de St. Germaine during the time of King Luis and Marie Antoinette....He brought forth the I AM teachings from the 1920's, that still exists today with headquarters in Chicago and Mt. Shasta California.  He is always aligned with the Archangel Zadkiel who is the Seventh Angel of Freedom and Alchemy...
End of Lesson - to be continued.....
