The line of Hierarchy coming down from the "original Son of God, the Ancient of Days, Sanat Kumara, to the Buddhas, Lord Gautama, who is presently Lord of the World, and then Lord Maitreya, who ascended after Lord Gautama, to the Christ, who Lord Maitreya overshadowed from his Transfiguration to his Ascension, to Master Kuthumi who was St. Francis of Assisi in a former life, to his pupil and disciple, Djwal Khul, who was with El Morya and Kuthumi many lifetimes, their most well know was as the Three Kings who visited Jesus at His birth:

The 7th Group are known as the Scientific servers

They will reveal the essential spirituality of all scientific work which is motivated by love of humanity and its welfare, which relates science and religion and brings to light the glory of God through the medium of His tangible world and His works.  They have a most interesting function but one which will not become evident for a long time - not until the building forces of the universe are better understood.  This will be co-incident with the development of etheric vision.  This group will act as a channel of communication or intermediary between the energies which constitute the forces which construct the forms and fabricate the outer garments of Deity and the human spirits.  You will note here, consequently, the possibility that this group's main initial work will be concerned with the problem of reincarnation.  That problem deals with the taking of an outer garment or form under the Law of Rebirth. 

As the word God = Geometry of Divinity, we know that all of Creation is accomplished through scientific and mathematical equations - we also know that even  the "Music of the Spheres" is a mathematical equation and thus all symphonies in music in our world are mathematical in structure - we also have discussed the Quantum Physics and the String Theory are aligning the philosophy of the East in their teaching of Fohat pervading all space and the "Antacharana" the string that connects all life at the level of the etheric - in quantum physics this is known as the field and the Antacharana = The String Theory - it is now understood and accepted in this field of science that all life when reaching the "field" are connected by the string.  Just think of the leaps we have taken in Scientific Research - new theories are constantly being tested.  They are researching and actually using remote healing in the military where there are no doctors or hospitals to accommodate the masses.  There are doctors right now who are working with our military stationed in remote regions.  They are using this hi-tech medical booth that can be placed anywhere, hooked up and when a patient steps into the booth, he can communicate with a doctor - and the booth also acts as a CT Scan, X-ray and heart monitor and cardiogram machine.

As I explained in an earlier lesson we haven't yet touched the tip of the iceberg as far as light, electricity, laser and nuclear are concerned - the World Teacher told us that starting with the splitting of the Atom (he said this in 1933) and the Nuclear and Hydrogen Bombs, there was a "sudden shift" in the Universe and from that time forward scientists will be breaking out of the box and moving into new dimensions - it will be the higher voltage and light waves of the laser that will heal our 4 lower bodies and the World Teacher even said it would be 3 young men who would discover this new way of healing the "etheric body" wherein all of our karma lies - this is the body that brings about disease, deterioration and finally death. The three D's, but according to them, people will be able to live for a very long time disease free, once this discovery is brought forth from the etheric.

This group uses the following centers in their work:  The head, throat and sacral centers.

Many revolutionary ideas are being researched in scientific circles and new theories are constantly being tested, but as yet the evidence accumulated in areas of research such as consciousness, life after death and the existence of the soul has not been strong enough to sway the thinking of mainstream science.  Notable developments have certainly taken place in applied science and technology - but they have been through the manipulation of laws of nature that have been known for over a century, and no new discoveries about the laws themselves have been forthcoming.

The Safire Project is a set of laboratory-based experiments to “explore the role of electricity in stellar and planetary phenomena”, in particular, to independently test the Electric Sun theory.[1]Based on a “Design of Experiments” approach, and using a SCADA control system, Safire focuses primarily on observation and experimentation, instead of theory and simulations.[2]Experimentation takes place in a large vacuum chamber, that has also been described as “A Star in a Jar”. SAFIRE is an acronym for “Stellar Atmospheric Function in Regulation Experiment”. To date, the Safire Project has not found any disparities with the EU/ES model.

The Vacuum Chamber

The vacuum chamber enables an electric discharge to be created, not too dissimilar from that created in a fluorescent light. The chamber contains an electrode, usually a ball-shaped positively-charged anode, surrounded by a cathode. Varying the gas mixture, pressure, voltage and current (direct current), facilitates various kinds of plasma discharges. The resulting properties are measured with a wide variety of diagnostics, including electric and magnetic fields, light across the spectrum (radio waves to ultraviolet), and chemical analysis.

Lead scientist Michael Clarage explains:

“The SAFIRE chamber is a tool to understand how electricity manifests in solar systems. Sometimes we will start with something observed in nature, “out there”, then see if we can replicate that in the chamber. At other times we will take what we are seeing in the chamber to guide us in reinterpreting the wealth of data that is coming back to us from satellites looking at the sky.”[3]

Ray 5 is the stream of energy behind which stands the Lord of Knowledge and Science.  This great Life is in close touch with the mind of the Creator.  It is the Ray of Science and of Research.  In both fields of endeavor much attention has been given to the outer forms of life, but now a beam of light illuminates the form, the hidden knowledge of God and how He veils Himself, and finds its way into human minds and thoughts.  Energies and forces reveal their inner purpose, and much is seen as process, as rhythm, and as returning on itself. This is exactly what subatomic research and as biochemistry are bringing out through scientists like Fritjof Capra, author the The Tao of Physics; the biochemist Albert Szent-Gyorgyi; Gary Zukav; and others. 

The purpose of the form is to reveal the mind and the love of God.  The past reveals the form, but the present indicates the flowing in of energy.  In connection with Ray V, we find in a sort of mystical mantra by the Tibetan Master these words:   "That which is on its way comes as a cloud which veils the sun.  But hid behind this cloud of immanence is love, and on the earth is love and in the heaven is love, and this - the love which maketh all things new - must stand revealed.  This is the purpose back of all the acts of the great Lord of Knowledge and of Science, the Lord of the Fifth Ray."

This Fifth Ray energy is one of  unique and peculiar potency in relation to humanity because the plane of mind is the sphere of its major activity  It also has much to do with the transfer of the human consciousness into the fifth or spiritual kingdom.  Just as the personality has no other function in the divine Plan than to be the medium of expression of the Soul, so is the lower mind intended to be a channel for the inflow of higher mind energy  Under the influence of this Fifth Ray, love and mind must eventually and naturally reveal each other.

Fifth Ray energy comes to our solar system by way of Leo, Sagittarius and Aquarius and expresses itself primarily through the planet Venus.  Leo is the controlling factor at this time because produces the growth of individualism and of self-consciousness that is today so prevalent on a world scale

Out present Aryan race, the fifth root-race, is strongly influenced by  the Fifth Ray energy with its keynote of mental development.  This may account for our strong emphasis today on education, science, technology and psychology  The mental plane, however, is a dual plane of lower concrete mind and higher mind.  Through the energy of Ray V we learn to know our world of forms, not only for their own sake but as prerequisites to the higher and deeper understanding of their true purpose that sees the outer forms as instruments to soul purpose and quality. "The higher mind must be allowed to purify the lower mind in order to make it the powerful and constructive tool it was meant to be . . .When the knowledge of God shall shine forth universally . . .the expression through the human instrumentality of the divine omniscience, then will the Lord of Concrete Science, Who is the embodiment of the fifth principle of mind, see His work brought to a conclusion.

Just an added note here - many people today are working on the Fifth Ray through Research - many bio-chemists are researching why so many people have cancer, strokes, heart disease, Cystic Fibrosis, mental health issues, deformity, viruses etc.  We know from a spiritual point of view that many of these diseases are from the abuse of our beautiful planet, through chemicals  in our vegetables, smog in our air, garbage and sewer in our rivers and oceans, all of these pollutants are everywhere and in almost everything we inhale or consume - no wonder we've reached the stage where if our immune system is weakened, we are susceptible to any one of these diseases. Therefore, we must all realize that organic is the only way to consume food (and making sure that it is truly organic), and purified water with added electrolytes will also be beneficial, while getting rid of fossil fuel and the allowance of sewage to be dumped into our water systems is a sin against our Mother Earth - all of the above is also contributing to the acceleration of heat within and on planet Earth - to the point that Greenland is melting years faster than anticipated by our scientists, causing a rise in the oceans which will and already has begun to submerge many of the islands and now is beginning to be hazardous to anyone living along our coastlines.

Now, it is critical for everyone on Earth to begin to join the Fifth Ray  energies in solving the energy crisis before our children and grandchildren are left without a planet.

Number 5.  The Political Organizers

This group concerns itself with the political life in every nation.  They deal with the problems of civilization and with the relationships existing between nations.  The bringing about of international understanding will be their major objective.  This group communicates the "quality of imposition," and an authority that is lacking in the other branches of this divine group activity.  This work is largely First Ray work.  It will embody the method whereby the divine Will works out in the consciousness of races and nations.  Members of this group will have much First Ray energy in their equipment.

We may ask, "What is a Ray?" (In defining the seven ray aspect, I find that :Seven Rays Made Visible by Helen S. Burmeister a student of Master Djwal Khul, gives us the best definition. In her book  Chapter III - Three Rays of Aspect she answers the question

What is a Ray?  A Ray is but a  name for a particular force or type of energy,  with the emphasis upon the quality which that force exhibits and upon the form aspect that it creates.
Remember when we refer to a particular force or type of energy, with the emphasis upon the "quality" which that force exhibits and upon the form aspect that it creates....we are talking about every individual's talents and how one expresses those talents in the world of form, also how those very life-force energies act upon his/her own four lower bodies - for it is this very "God Quality" that works through several of the energies of God in our Physical, Mental Emotional and Etheric Bodies - this combination of any one of the 7 Rays makes each of us different from each other - because any one of the 7 Ray Aspects of God Energy and God Quality can be acting in any one of our four bodies - Example:  Say a person has Ray 1 in the physical body which makes him/her a powerful force to reckon with; and yet, if he/she has Ray 2 in his/her Emotional Body, then Ray 1 is softened by Love and Wisdom; and at the same time if he/she has  Ray 4 in the Mental Body, this brings about the creative  energies that makes things happen through Harmony and Conflict (and/or Great Initiations) now at this point after many lifetimes of initiations this individual has finally is in communication with the Soul Aspect, then  say Ray 3 is the Soul Energy or God Quality in the Etheric Body - the Ray of the Holy Spirit, then there four flames of Love, Wisdom, Power and will now be under the direction of Divine Intelligence and therefore, the Soul, they will be working out the Divine Plan as "co-creator" with God.  It also shows that this individual is far along the Path of Initiation and with these 4 particular Rays of energy, has the qualifying energy of a "World Teacher" ready to bring about great changes through these God Qualities working through the four lower vehicles i.e. Physical, Emotional, Mental and Etheric.

Divisions and categories are not separations, because a life is one -  organism, in which every cell plays its part.  But these divisions help us to understand more clearly and intelligently the issues involved.

While we cannot express Life nor its perfection in words as yet, we can understand somewhat the process of "becoming" which lead to "being."  With it, the expression that "Matter is spirit at the lowest point of its cyclic activity and spirit is matter at its highest point" becomes more than just an intellectual statement in our thinking...

In her book on the Seven Rays Made Visible she also defines the human beingness and its qualities:

XV - "The Individual Being is a living son of God, a soul, occupying an animal body.  The secret of the human 'quality' is the power to identify with all other forms of consciousness and awareness, with all forms of unconscious and instinctual response.  This includes identification with all forms of the superconsciousness or divine sense of being..."

The most important information that she gives to us is how the different Rays influence the Individual Human Being

"A human being is  a living Son of God (a Soul) occupying an animal body.  We unify in ourselves the results of the evolution of consciousness of the past and the process of  new favor, that of an individual self-sustaining, self-knowing aspect.  This unity produces a consciousness of Self-awareness and of immortality. This new factor, however, must be developed.  It has been and is developing with great rapidity today. Human activity has reached an incredible speed and intensity and indicates the rapid integration of the three aspects of nature (physical, emotional, mental) into a sout personality".

For the greater part of our life experience we are governed first sequentially, then simultaneously, by the Ray that governs our physical body, then by the Ray that influences our emotional nature, and then by the Ray that controls the mental nature.  When all three are aligned, the PERSONALITY Ray emerges and the three body rays become subordinated to it.  Then the Soul Ray, or egoic Ray, begins to work and, as it becomes eventually, dominant, the other Rays become subordinated, and the soul-conscious human being can use the personality aspects will.

Each individual human being is subject to a large number of Ray influences that play upon him, form him, and make him the complexity he is:

    1  The solar Ray of Love-Wisdom.

    2  The planetary Ray of Active Intelligence.

    3  The Rays of humanity as a whole, Harmony through Conflict,  

        and of Science.

    4  The Ray of his own Soul, which may be any one of the Seven Rays.

   5   The Ray of his own personality, which may be any one of the 

        Seven Rays.

An Analysis of the Seven Rays and Their Expression When Applied to Man.

Here's where Ray I of Will or Power is defined:

Ray I of Will or Power

People on this Ray have strong will power for either good or evil; for good when the will is directed by Wisdom and made selfless by Love.  The first ray person will always "come to the front."  He or she is the born leader, one to trust and lean on, one to defend the weak.  he or she is fearless of consequences and utterly indifferent  to comment.  But if not modified by wisdom and love, a first ray person can be of unrelenting cruelty and hardens of nature.  A first ray person often has strong feelings, loves strong contrasts and masses of flowers; but is seldom an artist himself.  He or she delights in great orchestral effects, and, if modified by the other Rays, may be a great composer.  The literary work of a first ray person will be strong and trenchant, but with little care for style or finish.  First ray people take the kingdom of heaven "by violence."

Some of their special virtues are strength, courage, truthfulness, fearlessness, and the capacity to grasp questions in a large-minded way.  Some of the drawbacks are:  pride and ambition, willfulness, arrogance, and the desire to control others.  There are true First Ray  types in incarnation as yet - the time will come for the divine purpose to be safely revealed then they come into fun play.  All so-called Ray I egos are on the "first sub-ray of the second Cosmic Ray, which is in incarnation.
The energies of Ray I come through Aries, Leo and Capricorn.  Of this triangle Aries is today the controlling factor and is the source of the initial energy producing the New Age.

Let's look at some Blue Ray world leaders, for example Lenin and Stalin - the two Russian Revolutionaries - notice in this writing from the Communist Papers their abilities and genius in leading the masses of humanity - whether the peasant or the higher classes - they were and are now known in history as how Ray l Negative Leaders can completely overtake and through severe discipline, organization and death to any who opposed their viewpoints made them a force to reckon with - talk about "quality of imposition" they certainly used every tool at  their disposal to bring about socialism in its purest tyrannical form - see below:

Lenin and Stalin have been master mobilizers of the people. Never were they mere “cabinet” generals, but functioned directly on the firing line. Thus, Stalin was head of the committee that prepared the revolutionary seizure of power in Petrograd; and on the night of October 24, just before the decisive action began, when Lenin arrived in the city, Stalin was assigned personal leadership of the uprising.

Time and again during the Revolution these two leaders developed veritable miracles of mass activisation and struggle, with few organized resources and in the face of gigantic obstacles. By realizing in struggle the identity of interest of the Party and the people, they could bind the Party to every fibre of the working and peasant masses and convey to these masses a high degree of the Party’s clearsightedness, systematic methods of work, resoluteness, unflinching courage, firm unity, iron discipline and unbreakable fighting spirit.

The October Revolution itself furnished the best illustration of Lenin’s great activising ability; of his capacity, by the coordination of theory and practice, to involve huge masses in struggle around a relatively small organized force. When this gigantic movement was carried through, the Communist Party which headed it had hardly more than 300,000 members in a population of 160,000,000. But the Party, clear-headed and capably led, with a sound policy, using practical methods of work, and infused with the tireless and dauntless fighting spirit of Lenin, was able by prodigious effort to reach the masses. It educated them, set them in motion, and led their millions in successful revolutionary struggle against capitalism.

Another brilliant example of this supreme ability of Lenin and the Party to mobilize and activise the whole people in struggle was shown in the bitterly fought Civil War. When the Revolution took place in October, 1917, the Russian army, betrayed by its tzarist officers and defeated by the Germans, was rapidly disintegrating and about to fall to pieces. World military experts declared it impossible for the war-weary, starving Russian people to be reorganized to fight against the imperialist intervention, launched by England, France, Japan and the United States. But the job was done. The Communist Party, led by Lenin, in the fire of civil war, with industry and agriculture prostrate and with daily rations as low as two ounces of bread per person, was able to build the Red Army into an invincible force of 5,000,000 soldiers who victoriously drove the counter-revolution from Soviet Russia’s borders. To perform this “impossibility” required a tremendous mobilization of the people, and to bring this about taxed all the understanding, tenacity and fighting spirit of the Party.

Please note when reading these two dictators bios that they have the knowledge in how to manipulate and motivate the masses; but there is no LOVE ingredient that would have given the added "WISDOM" to their reign over the USSR - and without this ingredient, they would eventually fail and their government would collapse - as we all became aware in the late '80's when Yugoslavia was the first to claim its independence from USSR, followed by all the other countries under Russian dictatorship.

Now let's look at a Positive First Ray Leader:

• #3 He served as the third President of the United States. ... 
• #4 United States Military Academy was established during his presidency. ... 
• #5 Jefferson doubled the size of the United States during his presidency.

Thomas Jefferson's influence in freeing these United States from the Tyrant Oppressor - King of England who like the above dictators held those who governed the Americas, as subjects to his will and only his will - here is the original rendition of the Declaration of Independence as it hangs today in the Rotunda of the National Archives Museum:

This above introduction to the Declaration was written by Thomas Jefferson- his rendition influenced the writing of the Bill of Rights.

It is important for us to read once again these documents written by our forefathers, who together representing each of the colonies, defied the Tyrant King and declared a revolution  but unlike the Communist leaders Lenin and Stalin, rather than "impose" their will upon the people, they believed that all men were created equal and therefore that all men had equal rights for liberty, freedom and equality - we are certainly working on most of these God qualities except for the fact that not all Americans believe in equality for people of color.  That will be one of the challenges that this Number 5 seed group who are responsible for the Political Organization if we are to move rapidly into the Aquarian Age - please remember that during this past 400 years that we've been experiencing the influence of the Aquarian Age through the Industrial Revolution - the high tech industries -  the airplane and the submarine -both the Hydrogen and Atomic Bombs and all that has transpired since the Aquarian age opened with the death of Sir Francis Bacon, who wrote about  "The New Atlantis". This was his contribution to finding a country that would incorporate - freedom, liberty and brotherhood into their rules of law - He was "Uncle Sam" who addressed the first Continental Congress when after his speech all members signed the "Declaration of Independence".

Now let's continue reading the Declaration of Independence this part was written by Stephen Lucas.... again, he is giving the American colonists an outline of what had been transpiring between this fledgling colony and the King of England:

He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.

He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.

He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.

He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures.

He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.

He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected; whereby the Legislative powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People at large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean time exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within.

He has endeavored to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands.

He has obstructed the Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary powers.

He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.

He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people, and eat out their substance.

For Quartering large bodies of armed troops among us;

For protecting them, by a mock Trial, from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States;

For cutting off our Trade with all parts of the world;

For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent;

For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury;

For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offenses;

For abolishing the free System of English Laws in a neighboring Province, establishing therein an Arbitrary government, and enlarging its Boundaries so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for introducing the same absolute rule into these Colonies;

For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws, and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments;

For suspending our own Legislatures, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever;

He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against us.

He has plundered our seas, ravaged our Coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.

He is at this time transporting large Armies of foreign Mercenaries to complete the works of death, desolation and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty & perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the Head of a civilized nation.

He has constrained our fellow Citizens taken Captive on the high Seas to bear Arms against their Country, to become the executioners of their friends and Brethren, or to fall themselves by their Hands.

He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavored to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages, whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.

In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.

Nor have We been wanting in attentions to our British brethren. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here. We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which, would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity. We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our Separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, Enemies in War, in Peace Friends.

We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these United Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. Let us not make the grave mistake of allowing anyone to govern us as a dictator, we must all realize that these great men placed their lives on the line in order to form a more perfect union and the gift that we've received from their sacrifice is the freedom of speech, to practice our various faiths, and to go to the voting polls and place the person who is most qualified to govern these United States, so that we can continue to have a "more perfect union."

Please note in the drawing below where these centers are located - remember they ride up the back of the spine from the Kundalini, to the Seat of the Soul, to the Solar Plexus, to the Heart Chakra, to the Throat Chakra, to the Third Eye Chakra and finally to the Crown Chakra.   When the Christ made his ascension, he raised the Kundalini Center containing the two Serpents, up to the Seat of the Soul Chakra, and then He had to master aligning the Solar Plexus Chakra (as it swings back and forth like a pendulum) it had to remain centered in order for the two great energies to pass through, and then on up to the Heart chakra, wherein the  threefold flames of Love, Wisdom and Power are the exact replicas of our Divine Parents...The I AM THAT I AM are located - it is the Yellow flame or better known as the Resurrection Flame- that is ignited by the Kundalini upsurge and this Powerful Flame transfigures and catapults the Kundalini Energy up through the Throat Chakra, the Third Eye Chakra and finally passes through the Crown Chakra - at this particular point, an individual has gone through the Transfiguration and on up through the Resurrection and once the Kundalini Energy passes through the Crown Chakra, he/she has reached the stage of Immortality - at this point he/she can either elect to move on into the etheric plane and/or remain here as a Mahatma or Great Soul, who will not abandon his fellow disciples and the masses of humanity still stuck in the physical plane, most disciples will choose to stay and lend a helping hand to those still caught up in the veils of darkness - searching for the light.

6. The Workers In the Field of RELIGION

Their work is to formulate the universal platform of the new world religion.  It is a work of loving synthesis and it will emphasize the unity and the fellowship of the spirit.  This group is, in a pronounced sense, a channel for the activity of the second Ray of Love- Wisdom - that of the World Teacher - an office held at present by the Christ.  The platform of the new world religion will be built by the many groups, working under the inspiration of the Christ and the influence of the Second Ray and these - in their totality - will constitute this sixth group.  

As you can see from the title of this lesson that since He wrote these lessons, he too, became a "World Teacher" along with

 His teacher, Kuthumi as well as the Christ all three are under the Planetary Buddha, Lord Maitreya.  All of these World Teachers are on the Second Ray of Love - Wisdom and therefore they will be responsible for this particular group.

In the last lesson we not only introduced the meaning of the Rays; but also their influence on the three aspects making up the human being i.e. the dense physical body, the emotional body and the etheric body and how each of the rays influences  our four lower bodies.  Now let us look at the Second Ray in order to have a clear understanding of what is required of this group in their endeavor to bring into manifestation the new world religion.

Ray II - The Lord of Love-Wisdom

In our solar system, this Ray is the expression of the Cosmic Christ. He is the embodiment of pure love who instills into all forms the quality of love and is in our solar system the most potent of the Seven Rays.  He expresses Himself primarily through the planet Jupiter, which is His body of manifestation.   Originating in a star of the Great Bear, this Ray-Life transmits its energies to our solar system through the constellations of Gemini, Virgo and Pisces.  At this time the controlling factor is Virgo, which produces the increased activity of the Christ principle in the hearts humanity.

The Cosmic Christ

The Cosmic Christ can be defined as that aspect of God which pervades all of creation, the Christ who "fills the universe in all its parts" (Ephesians 1:23).  The Franciscan teaching of this is based firmly in the theology of Bonaventure and Scotus that flows from the spirituality of Francis and Clare* and their early followers.   It is basically Trinity-centered and Christ-centered.

Bonaventure brought new insights of a Trinity theology, building on the work of some great minds of the past.  For Bonaventure, the First Person of the Trinity the Father-Mother Person - is Love, the Source of all that is good, and Font of all goodness. This God wants to express Godself, and so the Word - the Second Person - expresses the overflowing goodness and love of God.  The self-consciousness of this love, Love aware of itself, is the Word expressed inwardly; the Word expressed outwardly IS God's creation of the world out of Love. The Third Person - the Spirit Person - is the mutual love between the Father-Mother Person and the Word and is God living and active in this world.

Franciscan theologian Zachary Hayes, OFM, states that when God's Word, Love aware of itself, comes pouring into nothingness, the universe happens.  Revelation really begins not with the Bible but with creation. If the universe is the external embodiment of the Inner Word of God, says Hayes, "There is something Incarnational throughout the whole of creation."

 Bonaventure's teaching leads us to an almost incredible conclusion. Every leaf, cloud, fruit, animal, and person is to be seen as an outward expression of the Word of God in Love!  Thus each creature has its own identity, integrity, and dignity.  Each is sacred because it holds something of the Word of God, Christ, in a unique way.  According to Hayes, the thrush that serenades us, the water that quenches our thirst, you and I - "each creature is a word of God (with a small "w"), spoken in love, by Love itself!

Scotus asserted that Jesus Christ was God's perfect creation, who in turn would love God perfectly.  This perfect creation existed in God's intention before the world was created; that this Word was "the first-born of all creation" (Colossians 1:15); that "all things came to be through (this Word)" (John 1:3); that the Word became human out of love, not primarily to make up for our sin.

 What does this have to do with Franciscan eco-spirituality?  Today, it is rather common to speak of the earth-spirit, the earth as a living organism (Lovelock's Gaia Theory), the innate rights of all creatures, and so on.  In the nineteenth century, Gerard Manley Hopkins, a Jesuit with a deeply Franciscan mind and heart, referred to a similar reality: "There lives the dearest freshness deep down things."

I like to think THAT the "dearest freshness" in all creatures has to do with the Christ who "fills the universe in all of its parts," the aspect of the Cosmic Christ that determines each creature's being and unifies all that is, bringing differentiation and union in the universe (Thomas Berry). For me, this is where the meaning of the "new cosmology" (Brian Swimme's "Hidden Heart of the Cosmos") resides.  This is how the "relational universe" of today's physics comes close to the "sister-brother" world of Francis and Clare and where a living tradition and new thought come together.  I believe that all creatures are intimately linked, cosmically connected, for, as Thomas Berry has said, "Nothing can be itself without everything else."

The ramifications of this kind of spirituality for the WORLDS of nature and human society are obvious.  If every being somehow carries the divine, (the Cosmic Christ in the Franciscan tradition), every being is basically sacred.  If we truly believed this, we would change our ways, be more thought-full, walk with a lighter step, and show our love and gratitude and concern for sister thrush, brother cloud, sister water, sister star, and the rest of the family.  Such is the sometimes difficult but always life-giving challenge placed before Earth's people and, especially, those of us who are Franciscan at heart.

NOTE:  I like the Franciscan interpretation of the Cosmic Christ because it is my belief and that of millions of people in the East that everything in creation is part of God  and  that through His love and His Sons and Daughters (as we are also the WORD)  than all that God Father/Mother created is evolving continually towards their own Godhood - thousands have already climbed Jacob's Ladder into the Heart of God - as Christ promised "I go to prepare a seat for you at the right hand of the Father"  He never said we were less than Him but only that He was far more advanced upon the path to Ascension - in fact, He had only a tiny amount of Karma left which enabled Him to still reside in this 3rd Dimension - the Earth Plane - just long enough to give us a complete picture of what it is like to complete your Karma, become the Office of the Christ through His Transfiguration in the Desert,  Then through the Resurrection he was able to stay among his apostles for 40 days in order for them to understand what it truly means to "be on the Path and to complete the Divine Plan." Finally as was witnessed by His apostles and His disciples he made His  Ascension into the Light of the Creator - (this is the prodigal son returning home to his Father/Mother God). -MF

In these two Rays of Will and Love we have the two main characteristics of the divine nature that lie latent behind all the myriads of forms. Human beings are the custodians of that wisdom which will enable them to further the divine plan and bring it to fruition.  That certainly puts a great responsibility upon each one of us and humanity as a whole, but we also have the honor and privilege of being co-workers with our Logos* in objectifying His plan of Creation. 

* Our Planetary Logos is the Ancient of Days, Beloved Sanat Kumara, one of the Seven Original Sons of God

Ray II is the Ray of the Master Builder who is occupied with the first formulation of the plan upon which the forms must be constructed and the idea of the Most High materialized.  Through Him the blueprints come into being with their mathematical accuracy, their structural unity, and their geometrical perfection,  which then makes the work of the actual builders possible. 

In the Cosmos, all that exists throughout our Universes is brought about through the power of Love, in our own Planet during its birth and coming into form over 4.5 Billion years ago, it took the Elementals over 900 years to bring forth the vegetable, mineral and water elements in preparation for the incoming First Root Race.  They worked continually with great love and devotion so that when mankind began to incarnate they entered a pristine perfect planet. 

The First Three Rays are what make up the Holy Trinity - Father Mother Son - the First Ray represents the Father it is Blue in color and its God quality is The Will to Be, while Ray II Represents  the Son, its color is Yellow (it's also known as the Resurrection Flame),

this ray's God quality is Love/Wisdom - many of the Buddhas, the World Teachers and the Christed Ones are on this particular Ray.

The Third Ray reps the Holy Spirit (or Divine Mother) its color is 

Rose Pink and its God quality is Active Intelligence - it is the inherent intelligence in matter - the Lord of this Ray is responsible for the actual working out of the Divine Plan for this Manvantara.

Each individual has an exact replica of this Triune Flame within the Heart Chakra and this is what is meant when reference is made to our being  made in the image and likeness to our Father/Mother God - not the physical vehicle but the fiery Flame that connects us to the Soul and Higher Self.  Below is a very good illustration of the physical body at the base of the Chart, the Solar Angel and/or Soul; and then the Higher Self of I AM THAT I AM, which is the divine blueprint of our Father/Mother God - I AM THAT I AM

Specific qualities that Ray II represents are: love divine, radiance, attraction, the power to save, wisdom, expansion and inclusiveness.  The mystery of Ray II is found hidden in the significance of the perfume of flowers.  Ray II is one of the three Rays that are responsible for the development of consciousness in the vegetable kingdom, whose highest development is attractiveness magnetism and perfume.

Think about it, when you love someone, you send them flowers and/or perfume - in India it's Incense - I wrote a whole ceremony recently for a wedding on the Law of Attraction - I have removed the names so that you can see how powerful this Ray can be, again it all has to do with attraction, magnetism and these two usually result in co-creation the bringing forth new life from these God qualities.

Most everyone believes that the Law of Attraction is all about abundance, which is true to a certain point; but what is missing here is the fact that you are constantly creating and imagining what you desire.

At some point you will attract someone into your life – this attraction is the magnet that draws one to another.  It can be for a positive loving relationship and/or it can be for the destruction of another – why?  Because thoughts are real and if your thoughts are positive, true and loving, you will attract someone who will compliment you, a soul mate or twin soul.

This union of two souls results in co-creation becoming one in all things, not only two bodies but two souls and two spirits. When this union occurs, a clan is established, two souls, two families , and two people’s friends make a village.

From this day forward, you are bound to one another, through the Sacrament of Marriage, through the acceptance of both of your families and witnessed by all of your friends. 

The Law of Attraction created the “union” which is built of love and fire, and the desire to reach for the stars. Your circle supports you in all your endeavors and it is this uniting of yourselves that makes your life useful and meaningful.  Just think for a moment what you two have accomplished on your own; and now imagine for a moment what will happen when together you unite your desires, your goals that will motivate you and prompt you into activity. 

Do you realize how God understands his beloved sons and daughters – he expects you to attract to you all that you need – to aim high – is it true that He allows us to have all the things of this world?  Yes, because He filled the world with desire as part of the Path of Evolution.  He allows the desire for the things of this world in order for us to slowly unfold the God within us – this is the Father at play with His children.

This ancient and powerful Law of Attraction is what makes life worth living; and at some point in the future, the Law of Attraction will draw unto you that soul or souls who have chosen you as their guides – at this point you will learn what it is to have unconditional love – not only for each other; but for what you created through this dynamic Law of Love.

Ever since Pope John XXIII began to "outreach" through the ecumenical council back in the early 1960's; we've seen a dramatic change in how people of different faiths interact with each other.  In the late  1980's I happened to be at a meeting with the Dali Lama in San Francisco and seated at the table with him were Cardinals, Bishops and  Pastors of  various faiths, all gathered under the same roof to hear this great being who has incarnated 14 times as the Dali Lama of Tibet.  His Tibetan Philosophy is the word and actions carried forth by Compassion, Love and Wisdom, as a World Teacher he is recognized throughout all nations as an inspiration for Liberty, Brotherhood and Peace.
  Then in 1986, there was a meeting of all the leaders of the main religions of the world at Assisi in 1986. This conference gave each leader of a religious sect  an opportunity to highlight what their particular religion had to offer to support their particular congregations, communities and the world itself.
Today, we have the friendship and fellowship between Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of the Azhar which is helping to transform centuries of misunderstanding and hostility between their two faiths.
