The Seventh Ray represents freedom, liberty, brotherhood, equality between male and female - it represents both the Element of Air as well as the Element of Water. 

The Master Djwal Khul gives us an overview of the disciples of both the 6th and 7th

Ray: 

The Seventh Ray disciples wield much power, and for this reason the emphasis in all

teaching given to them is laid upon purity of motive.  In the past, the emphasis has been laid upon the purity of body, in the case of the sixth Ray disciples.  

PROPHECIES FOR THE NEW AGE-Year - 1946

The New Age, with its peculiar civilization and culture, will be brought into mani-

festation through the collaboration of the well-intentioned many, responsive 

increasingly to the good of the whole, and not of the individual;  they are the idealistic but practical thinkers - impressed by the plans and under the instruction of the Hierarchy which is directing and controlling all.

Here He gives  the difference between the Sixth Ray disciples and the incoming 

Seventh Ray disciples - while the Sixth Ray disciple was all about purifying and

disciplining the physical body; we will now see a radical change in the Seventh

Meditating and Connecting to Etheric Plane

Ray disciple; as he/she will come into the planet to serve mankind, to teach

mankind and to be a living example to everyone - therefore the emphasis at

this time is upon 'purity of motive' rather 'purity of body'.

(13) The Seventh Ray governs predominantly upon the etheric levels of

the physical plane. it does not govern the dense physical form, which is

under the control of the Third Ray.  It is the vital or the etheric body which

is responsive to and developed by  the incoming Seventh Ray.

We can now understand the difference between the Sixth Ray disciples and the 

incoming Seventh Ray disciples - the Sixth Ray disciple will continue along the

path of devotion; sacrifice, and following some religious sect; while the Seventh

Ray disciple will be looking for self-knowledge  through meditation, service

and stepping out of the box in becoming self-realized.  In order to achieve these

goals, he/she will be seeking non-religious but spiritual philosophy - 

all part of learning who he/she is and searching for truth that will set them free.

NOTE:  The only way to reach the etheric plane is through daily meditation.

(14) One of the inevitable effects of seventh ray energy will be to relate and weld 

into a closer synthesis the four kingdoms in nature.  This must be done as prepare-

tory to the long fore-ordained work of humanity, which is to be the distributing

agency for spiritual energy to the three subhuman kingdoms. This is the major

task of service which the fourth kingdom, through its incarnating  souls, has 

undertaken.  The radiation from the fourth kingdom will some day be so potent 

and far reaching, that its effects will permeate down into the very depths of the

created phenomenal world, even into the mineral kingdom. Then we shall see

the results to which the great initiate, Paul, refers when he speaks of the whole 

creation waiting for the manifestation of the Sons of God.   That manifestation

is that of radiating glory and power, and love. 

As the Seventh Ray penetrates more and more into the phenomenal world, it will

have those in humanity, under the Seventh Ray, distributing spiritual energy 

to the three subhuman kingdoms i.e. the animal, the elemental and the mineral 

kingdoms.  The most important service that humanity will perform under the 

influence of the Seventh Ray will be to be responsible for distributing this 

spiritual energy to all the three lower kingdoms - therefore, the for-ordained 

plan for humanity is to be working with the animal, elemental and mineral 

kingdoms along with the angel devas - this will enable mankind to then work 

directly with Hierarchy.

Incidently, I might point out here that the Seventh Ray influence will have three

definite effects upon the forth and third kingdoms in nature.  Theses are as

follows:

1.  All animal bodies will be steadily refined, and in the case of humanity, 

     consciously refined, and so brought to a higher and more specialized state

     of development.  This is today proceeding with rapidity.  Diet and athletics,

     open air and sunshine, are doing much for the race, and in the next two

     generations (written 1946 would be 1986) fine bodies and sensitive natures

     will make their appearance, and the soul will have far better instruments

     through which to work.

     Notice here that the animal bodies will be refined (they will come in
     more refined than our animals of today, which we can already see if 
     we are paying attention to domestic animals over the past 20 years).  What
     is really important here and has been occurring since the 80's is how we,
     as humans are becoming more aware of our physical bodies and through
     exercise, eating more natural foods (without chemicals) and mainly
     consciously refining both our physical bodies while becoming sensitive
     to both the three lower kingdoms and the expansion of consciousness.

2.  The relation between the human and the animal kingdom will become 

      increasingly close.  The service of the anaimal to man is well recognized, 

     and of ceaseless expression.  The service of man  to animals is not yet

     understood, though some steps in the right direction are being taken.  There

     must eventuallly be a close synthesis and sympathetic co-ordination

     betweeen them, and when this is the case, some very extraordinary

     occurrences of animal mediumship, under human inspiration, will take

    place.  By means of this, the intelligent factor in the animal - of which

    instinct is the embryonic manifestation - will be rapidly developed, and

    this is one of the outstanding results of the intended human-animal 

    relationship

The first thing  that comes to mind is how animals who in the past, would

hunt and kill other animals, now, are forming friendships - for example,

our Cockerpoo dog fell in love with our Cockatoo Bird, and would bring

all of his toys up to the cage - later on, he would stick his head inside of

the cage and eat the Cockatoo's food while the Cockatoo would step
aside, letting his head in the cage .  We have pictures of the bird 

and the dog sitting on the chair together.  In America, one notices that

pets are treated just like children - they go everywhere with their

owners.  Look how many dogs are now entering nursing homes to be

with those patients who are sick and lonely - they seem to know who

needs their warmth and understanding; and they will spend time with

one or several patients without anyone's permission. People are sending

in pictures of dogs trying to play the piano, birds dancing to music.  Our

blue jays fly to our windows and rap with their beaks when they want

their fountain filled and/or a serving of peanuts.

3.  There will be, as a consequence of this quickened evolution, the rapid 

     destruction of certain types of animal bodies.  Very low grade human

     bodies will disapper, causing a general shift in the racial  types towards

     a higher standard.  Many species of animals will also die out, and are

     today disappearing, and hence the increasing emphasis upon  the

     preservation of animals, and the establishing of game preserves.

As was discussed in the previous lesson, through a variety of occurrences,

especially the killing of animals but also humanities invasion of their

private reserves, we are seeing many animals becoming extinct.

Whether through war or natural disasters, or just the fact that those

low-grade human bodies can no longer exist within the powerful vibrations

bombarding our planet through the Seventh Ray (this ray allows the

powerful energies from the Buddhic Pane to also bombard our planet)-

this spiritual energy has never been manifest upon the earth before.

In this comparative, even if inadequate study of the old and of the new

type of discipleship, one of the problems facing the Hierarchy, is how to 

bring about the necessary changes in technique and method of develop-

ment, which the Seventh Ray type will require, and yet at the same time

so condition these changes that there can be a smooth process of adjust-

ment and interplay, between the Hierarchy and the world aspirants....

In the year 2018, we are finding that indeed, we are facing a phenomena

that has caused several colleges to take serious steps in  trying to under-

stand their students, who are over-sensitive in all areas - there's even

a book that has been recently published by two Professors, who have

made a study of this sudden change in behavior. In their studies  they

came to realize that the parents  have much to do with why this is

occurring - they have been coddled, and protected to the point that

they cannot handle the discipline required to enter college and live

and move about on their own - many are suicidial, many are 
depressed and the majority want eveything in their world to be politically 

correct.   We are now facing the problem of drugs - opiates 

being the main destroyer of not only young teenagers but also your

adults all over the country - they cannot live under the increasing

stress and find opiates as an escape from responsibility, much like

the chinese with their opium dens and the victorian english with

their laudanum (an opium powder) that was cheaper than gin.

Although Jesus came into a world filled with hate, fear and oppression, He

gave equal rights to His teachings to both male and female disciples; yet,

when He left His followers, the males, omitted the writings of the Holy

Women and in the Third Century after Christ's Ascension, after nearly 
three hundred years of hunting down and killing all followers

of Jesus, Constantine gave them the opportunity to bring their teachings to the

public.  He organized the First Council of Nicaea in 325 AD. 

 It was upon his authority that Jesus' follows threw out all teachings concerning

the female disciples, all teaching of reincarnation (that were still preserved

by the Essenes and Origen).  It became a male oriented world and for the

next 2000 years, the male was ruler in both church and state.  The

extreme Sixth Ray rulers are still in existence today 400 years into the

Aquarian Age but are slowly, but surely being removed from power.  These

dictators still hold great power and control of their people, their finances

and especially their freedoms.
